Normally, silhouettes are incorporated only in the more costly paperweights. This is because they’re much more time-consuming to make compared with standard canes.
However, we’ve persuaded John Deacons to make a whole series of inexpensive weights incorporating a central silhouette exclusively for Paperweights Plus.
There are 6 different silhouettes and 4 different shapes to choose from.
The silhouettes are cockerel, squirrel, dog, bird, ram and stag.
The shapes are domed, star, ribbed and daisy

This is the third such closepack weight that John has made specially for us. As with the other two it features 3 concentric rings of closepack canes on a mint green ground and encased in clear glass. The silhouette in this case is a stag. John's sticker is to the base.

This weight features a star design which has been made with complex canes made up with small stars and cog canes. The central cog cane features John's signature thistle cane in the centre.
