A clear weight given an attractive mauve tinge by the canes. There are a couple of small bruises to be seen on closer examination but John Deacons has recommended that these are left. This is reflected in the price.

This weight has been identified as a pre-war Paul Ysart by John Simmonds, author of Paperweights from Great Britain, 1930-2000.
Sparkling aventurine makes this a very attractive weight.
As can be seen from the closeup there is however a inclusion in the glass, and this is reflected in the low price.
